Beginning Adult Aikido Class
The focus of Aikido practice of the Academy of Zen and the
Ways is training to center body, breath and mind through Zen and
Aikido.
Program
The beginning course in Aikido will teach the student
fundamentals necessary for the practice of Aikido in the Academy of
Zen and the Ways, School of Budo.
This will include the practice of Zazen (sitting meditation),
stretching exercises, centering and focusing exercises, and basic
Aikido techniques falls and rolls.
A certificate of completion will be issued at the successful
completion of the course, which qualifies the student for
participation in regular classes of the Adult Aikido Program.
